Alright so! Halloween night, I go out with my friends… long story short I meet this man. I go home with him. Literally dateline episode 1, I know! Well the night is very vanilla just sleep.. honestly!! He then proceeds to make sure that I get home safe all of the cute little things you would want out of a guy you just met. Super green flags. Well for the next 2 weeks we had gone on legit 4 dates. I thought it was fine but my friends are saying it’s love bombing. Which for me I dont think so because I had been love bombed before and it was super abrupt and in my face, so I thought I knew what I was on the look out for. Bueno, we keep talking on the phone mainly and these phone calls last 1.5-2 hours each time. The he invites me to go to church with him, for me this is a big deal because I feel like church is something intimate. Fast forward he texted me and said he is talking to someone else and they are serious……. I dont think that is true at all. Mainly, because how do you have someone that you are seeing serious but you are spending hella time talking and entertaining me. Just really goes to show, men willl play games no matter what race, age or status.

Although, I will say now I know the signs and what to look for. I am so glad I did not give up the cookie pack. Like thank the Lord for real! I asked for a sign and I got a big giant one.

Looking back, I dont actually think that we were a great match and I think I was doing it because it was something that was available and not because there was a super strong connection. Like to be in a relationship conversation should come pretty easy and not have to think about the next question to ask to keep the conversation moving.

What I will say about the whole thing, is that it was fun, I got good free food and I learned a little more about the game. I do think my person will be entering my life soon and I am super excited about that.

For now I will enjoy the dating game and not take it so seriously. Here’s to all the single girlies that are trying to navigate through the trenches that are men!
