re·sist·ance
The refusal to accept or comply with something; the attempt to prevent something by action or argument.
Change is something that is inevitable, it will come at any moment and especially when we are least expecting it. You can prepare as much as you want for change but in the end you can never be prepared for the unexpected.
One of the worst things that you can do as a person trying to change is to actively resist the change from happening.
Cliche, but, change is going to be scary, it is going to be unexpected and it’s for sure going to be uncomfortable. Resisting the change in the end will only make you tired and unprepared for what is ahead.
Yes, I said you cannot be prepared for the unexpected but you can be mentally fit enough to handle the stress that comes along with the rapid occurrence of new events.
There is no better advice than to keep looking forward and to find pockets of happiness where you can. Life is not always going to be sweet.
Life is hard and moves by really quick and if you spend too much time sad, mad or the other rhyming words you are going to lose track of time that you can’t get back and that my friend, is the worst thing that you can do for yourself.
So for me, your internet friend, stop resisting the change that is going to happen anyways and embrace what a new start can do for you.
