Embracing Perspective: Finding Hope and Gratitude in Life’s Journey

Even if it is the only thing that you do, continue. When you want something really bad or continuously get the feeling that you are missing a part of you, it might just be something that you need. Life moves at the speed of a raging river that will slow when the rapids are clear. One thing for certain, life will place a boulder in the middle of your river to observe how you will handle the difficulty of a change in path.

The growing pains of change can be and will be insanely painful but the aftermath of your willingness to survive will bring you to end results you couldn’t have dreamed of in your most wild dream. Life really is all about perspective. Taking the awkward with the perfect timing. Loving yourself in the worst circumstances and reminding yourself that the calm that you have been praying for and romanticizing is on its way. having gratitude for what you currently have and being hopeful that the roots you have planted will flourish into something beautiful.

One of the most painful things about life is that you really never know what is going to take place in the future. The only thing you know of for sure is what is in the current moment. Even when looking into the past, your memories can be skewed, resulting in you not having an accurate account of the events that took place. Maybe even placing rose colored glasses to make yourself feel better about a situation that occurred.

One thing that is for certain is that the sun rises and falls with us. Our bodies will continue to grow, shape and mold into the person that we want to be, should be, and can be. Ourselves is the only person that can either make or prevent it from happening. Love yourself enough to be disciplined to go after your dreams, chase you imagination and put your skills to work. We were all given a set of unique skills that should be shared with the people you interact with everyday and maybe even the world some day.
